Sometimes, I feel the fear of uncertainty stinging clear. And I can’t help but ask myself how much I’ll let the fear take the wheel and steer. It’s driven me before, and seems to have a vague haunting mass appeal. But lately I’m beginning to find that I should be the one behind the wheel. – Incubus/Drive

Hello friends, so how are you doing life post-eclipse season? I am enjoying June’s energies so far and feel they will be bringing us a much-needed change of energy and perspective. Also a reminder that we are *creative* beings, and can take wheel again in our experience. From March though May of this year, we may have been slammed with so many unusual and/or startling events, that we may have temporarily forgotten.

We’ve all been there, so hurt and angry with negative, victimizing thoughts barreling through our heads like a freight train. How could so & so have been so cruel and insensitive?! We may never know the answer to that question, but we can temper our own response. That is the part of the equation that we still *do* have some control over. It seems family and friends are particularly skilled at “pushing our buttons” either consciously or unconsciously. In this way they truly become the “guru.” Sometimes, the greater the anger, the greater the potential teaching. We are certainly being “rubbed the wrong way,” and our ego is quick to let us know about it. I know there are those of you thinking “but what if others DO say or do something completely inappropriate or offensive?” Yes, this certainly does occur. Our response is what matters here, and it is a window of insight to how free or “hooked” we are ourselves. This is also not to suggest to “roll over” in the face of true injustice. It’s our attitude that counts. We can accomplish much more from a state of loving detachment than a state of reactivity that just puts us back on the same hamster wheel.

This is also not to say that it doesn’t hurt. It is particularly painful to see a good friendship end over a triggering event, where one or both of the parties would rather be “right” than happy. One of my teachers used to say, “Being right is like a coffee cup with a hole in the bottom. It’s not really worth much.” True ‘dat. This is the destructive power of egoic/ordinary mind at work, and it’s often not very pretty.

Spiritual teacher Vivekananda spoke of “verbal and mental delusion.” I can think of no better example than cyber attacks and “flame wars” that are ignited and continued simply by words upon a screen. It’s pretty silly when we step back and think about it for a little bit.

The Akashic Wisdom Keepers have often said that as global and galactic citizens one of the best things we can do to contribute to being among the “clean up crew” for the planet is to quit taking offense, even if it was intended. In that moment when we feel triggered by an outside circumstance, we have a choice. To let fear and aggression take the wheel, or to realign with what is *real* and more consciously aware inside of us.

Hello friends. With two Lunar and one Solar in the past two months, it’s quite possible that some people, places and things that were in place back in March are no longer with us. There may be some grief about that, which is perfectly understandable.

I remember back in the day I was talking (more like complaining,) about the loss of a friendship to my teacher. We were in his beautiful garden in Bonny Doon, CA (near Santa Cruz.) He pointed to a hummingbird that was going from flower to flower for sustenence. He said, “Look at this bird, s/he doesn’t get sad when one of these flowers are gone. S/he just finds another, and so will you.” I remember I didn’t like that comment. It felt callous to me at the time. It took me some time to realize that he was right. People that are meant to travel with us, will. If we’re no longer on the same page, we won’t. It’s as simple as that. That doesn’t mean we won’t have emotion to process about it, and that’s okay too.

The recent period of high level solar activity, eclipses and the Uranus/Pluto energies may have had a powerful “stripping” effect on many people. It is not uncommon for mind to view this as punitive, though in reality it is not. You have been provided with a tremendous opportunity to clear worn-out views, concepts and energies that are no longer in service to you, or in resonance with your new emerging and expanded self. Sagittarius Full Moon/Eclipse Musings ~

1) It’s good to talk about our feelings but only if they don’t clobber other people, especially if they are feeling vulnerable themselves. Tact and diplomacy never go out of style.

2) The love we deny others, is the love we deny ourselves.

3) Spiritualized Ego is Fool’s Gold. It’s shiny and pretty, and ultimately worth nothing. Knowledge and wisdom come with a price, and sometimes it’s rather high. Beware of the “golden handcuffs.”

4) Views and opinions are as common as dirt and are ultimately meaningless, so why argue over them? It’s impossible to step into unlimited consciousness while we are still arguing for our limitations.

It is not uncommon to take weeks and even months to process and integrate Eclipses energies. This time being accompanied by some additional high frequency “add-ons,” it’s safe to say we’ve got our work cut out for us. Please do keep in mind dear readers that we are in a vulnerable time, a collective “soft spot,” so to speak. For how long, is not exactly known. Some folks have recently come directly in contact with some of their deepest, dissassociated shadow material. This can be frightening and unsettling, especially for those who didn’t know it was there. Compassion and holding healing space for everyone especially ourselves, is currently high on the priority list.  The potential for growth and expansion into unlimited and uncharted areas is also here for us. The next round of eclipses will occur in the Fall of this year. Something tells me we are going to be very different beings by the time we get there.

Hello friends. Well I may have caught your attention with the title here, especially the Steely Dan fans among us. I have been rather mum about what I have been dealing with for the past year, only a few in my circle have known. Due to the wonderful encouragement of my friends at Spirit Library and others, I have decided to share with you now. I’m known by some as “lemonade girl” who likes to make her lemons of pain and sorrow into lemonade (with a nice little splash of Patron on the side!) So here goes.

Our Tibetan friends call a Bardo an “intermediate state.” Some believe that has humans we are in the Bardo of Becoming, a sleepy way station between birth and death.

Always recognize the dreamlike qualities of life and reduce the attachment and aversion. Practice good-heartedness toward all beings. Be loving and compassionate, no matter what others do to you. What they will do will not matter so much when you see it as a dream. The trick is to have positive intention during the dream. This is the essential point. This is true spirituality. – Chakdud Tulku Rinpoche, as quoted by Sogyal Rinpoche, 1995.

For the past year I have been serving as a caregiver to my beloved anam cara, Merle Smith. He has been closely involved in my life for twenty years. Merle would be considered a First Wave Indigo Wizard, with advanced skills in meditation, counseling and astrology. He has also mentored me in all of these subjects. We met when I was in my 20′s and it’s safe to say I was quite a mess. Processing my own Indigo/Lightworker family of origin trauma as an empath, wasn’t easy. It took tremendous patience and compassion on his part, and for all of these years he has stayed the course as my best friend, mentor and innermost confidant. Now it is I that am needing to find the patience, as he does everything much slower, and needs assistance with the most basic of tasks. He has also dropped and spilled things, which is not uncommon with those who have generalized physical weakness. My impatience and control freak tendencies have been pushed to the max, and on some higher level I know it’s all perfect and a good teaching for me, (even when I’m sighing and cursing.)

Since I decided to go public with our struggle, it’s been quite interesting to say the least. For the most part, people have been wonderful and given me continued faith in human beings for their great capacity for love, caring and compassion for others. I have also received way too much unsolicited advice, psychic readings that we did not ask for and other general boundary violations. I have even had people attempt to shame me for asking for support for myself as a caregiver, which was hurtful and shocking to say the least. My genius chiropractor friend (who also doubles as a spiritual counselor) got me to see the other day, that with a being like Merle who has given so many teachings throughout his life, would also continue to give them through his transition out of physicality. How could he not? It’s who he is at at core level, and how he earned the nicknames, “Yoda” and “Giggling Buddha” (GB, for short.) It’s rather par for the course, as they say. Merle is definitely considered a “major dude,” as a font of wisdom, light and a great blessing to all who know him.

I do know that these kind of situations can be difficult and uncomfortable for people and can activate their own unprocessed pain and life stories. In my experience it has been more healing to just sit in silence than fill the air with nervous babel. I’ve found the words, “I’m here,” and “I love you” to be a powerful healing balm these days. This has also put me face to face with my own greatest fears, which I’m sure are universally human; the fear of pain, ugliness, loss and suffering.

In the Tibetan literature they say, “Embrace your ten thousand horrible demons and your ten thousand beautiful demons.” You’ve just got to take it all and keep going. All your fears have to be embraced, entertained, honored, and you go on with them.  - Ram Dass

With Saturn in Scorpio, it does seem rather fitting for a deep shamanic initiation of this type, but I can tell you on plenty of days I wish that it wasn’t me that was doing it. Scorpio is a deeply healing energy in it’s highest manifestation. It is also about the TRUTH; the good, bad and ugly of it as well. I have already seen things that have made my Virgo planets recoil in utter horror, and I know we aren’t done with that part of the journey yet either.

Though we are keeping the faith and holding the light, Merle’s prognosis at this point is not good. I would prefer to not go into details of his medical condition at this time. We welcome any and all forms of Prayer, Reiki, Light work and healing Angel Therapies. For me personally, this is the most difficult thing that I will ever walk through in this life. I know this to be true. I also know there are incredible blessings and “aha” moments all over the place; the ones I have experienced already, and the ones yet to come. Some days I am able to accomplish all that I need to get done, almost trance-like; all the while carrying a strange grief and numbness that I have yet to get used to. I also sometimes feel a searing pain in my heart chakra and often have a very hard time getting out of bed. Today I was reminded of a spiritual poem that I read, “The crushed rose gives the greatest fragrance.” There are always great gifts in cosmic initiations like this, and there is also much pain. I also remember the Buddhist axiom, “Remember to not suffer over your suffering,” and remember it’s just another chapter, however poignant, unfolding in the great cosmic play of life.

I also know that I am certainly not the only one having to face down some serious personal fears, and scale some high mountains this year. As the Akashic Wisdom Keepers remind us, “You are dearly loved.” Yes you, and me as well. We are going to not only make it dear friends, but I have a feeling our future is brighter than we can possibly imagine at this time. Blessings of the ONE and to the ONE of us here. Namaste.

The quote here by Rajeev really stood out to me as a good representation of all of the strong Taurus energy we currently find ourselves in.  Taurus is exceptionally good at being still and quiet. Stopping the chatty, judging mind is one of the goals of meditation practice and this is a great boon to us in this area. As I wrote about in my Monthly Forecast, I feel that we have an exceptionally good opportunity at the moment, to reach our highest truths and also receive deeper levels of spiritual guidance as we quiet ourselves and LISTEN.

On May 8-9th, we will have the strongest influx of Taurus energy the entire month with the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury and Mars all in Taurus.

The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon is Taurus 20: Wind clouds and haste. This is a symbol of the transiency which characterizes life for the average individual, and of the instability which results from the disinclination of most people to give very much of themselves to their experience. This symbol speaks to us of the insecurity and the instability that will surround us if we try to avoid any commitment and responsibility. At the same time, it is reminding us not to rush into any situation, but emphasizes the importance of staying calm and holding steady in the midst of temporary turmoil and change, represented by the winds and clouds. At its highest merit, it speaks of our ability to combine the myths, the legends, the mysteries and the sacred knowledge in order to stay centered in the face of sudden tribulations and trials. I thought the Cosmic Tune choice was interesting for this New Moon/Solar Eclipse as New Moons are normally times of new beginnings and “planting seeds,” if you will. Weed and root pulling is more an activity normally attributed to the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, but somehow when looked at in combination with the Sabian Symbol and overall energies, it started to make some sense. Also keeping in mind that the Full Moon/Lunar eclipse at the end of the month will be especially powerful as it also will be in the wake of another pass of the Uranus/Pluto square, which tends to bring re/evolutionary energies that are felt both personally and collectively. I feel we’ve got a bit of “preventative medicine” available to us with this New Moon, and we would be wise to utilize it.

Talking Heads – Pull up the Roots

It’s a fun and rather wacky song, full of seeming contradictions. How could someone be so cheerful pulling up the roots, right?  He sounds like he’s dancing while he’s doing it. I think it’s especially perfect that it was written and sung by David Byrne who’s own Sun is in Taurus. He ought to know. 

Solar Eclipses can bring in changes from the outer world though opportunity, they can also present the necessity for personal decisions to be made. All eclipses are magical and powerful moments in time where energies become less scatted and highly focused. Traditionally more psychic and emotional discomfort is associated with Lunar Eclipses, as they are more aligned with cutting ties and letting go; Solar Eclipses can also bring their own kind of discomfort; “a fire under the butt,” so to speak. For those that fear or resist change, could be feeling edgier than most at this time. Keep in mind also that the effects of both Solar and Lunar eclipses can be felt for weeks, months and for some, even years.

We are also dealing with the push-pull dynamic of the current North Node in Scorpio and South Node in Taurus which can lull us into a sense of complacency, dullness and intractability. Beware of the tendency to keep taking the “Hard Way,” just because it is a road well-traveled. Also, negative habits of mind or behavior that though we know aren’t exactly good for us, we hold onto anyway.

New Moon/Solar Eclipse Message: The gift of the solar eclipse/new moon is the gift of both luminosity and continuity, bringing the realization that *all* parts of your life are sacred and make up the whole that you are. Just as the sun shines its light on all equally and without discrimination, so does the truth of your being radiate presence and unconditional love. So the Sun comes and go, and sometimes the cold winds blow. The clouds can bring storms with them and make a mess.  I feel that all of this strong Taurus energy in the midst of such powerful change (two eclipses this month,) is a powerful reminder of these wise words by the wonderful Pema Chodron,”You are the sky. Everything else is just the weather.”

Slow down, you move too fast. You got to make the morning last. Just kicking down the cobble stones. Looking for fun and feelin’ groovy. – Simon & Garfunkel/59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin’ Groovy)

Ah, May. Oh how I love you! May is a month dedicated to the Divine Mother and also our human mothers. It is also the fest of Beltane which celebrates fertility and new life. My own Jupiter in Taurus always relishes in these energies. For most places in the world May brings temperate weather also. We’ve had a very long winter in the mid and Eastern US this year, with snowfall lasting all the way through April. May for those folks will finally bring a feeling of Springtime and relief.

As I started tuning into the energies for May, I heard an old expression quite clear and actually several times: “Rest on your laurels.” To rest on one’s laurel’s is an old expression that has been attributed all the way back to Julius Caesar. It basically means to rest in one’s past accomplishments. The negative aspect of this being a kind of complacency, or even laziness. Well it’s already the fifth month of 2013 (can you believe it?) and we have done SO much; spiritually, physically and emotionally. Good work, friends. The earth house has been rocking and I know for myself, I am definitely ready for a break.

March brought us a Pisces Stellium (three or more planets in one sign,) April brought us an Aries stellium, and now May brings us one in Taurus. This energy will reach its apex on May 8-9 when the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury and Mars will all be the sign of Taurus. I suppose the Universe is giving us a potent lesson in the attributes and potentials of these unique planetary energies, and May is no exception. Taurus is a much slower energy than Aries, so for some that will be a relief. However it is a “Fixed” Earth sign, so be careful of the Taurus shadow, which are: greed/hoarding tendencies, overindulgence in food/drink, security fears, stubbornness or even downright intractability. The positive/bright side of Taurus energy is: grounding, nurturing, enjoying food/cooking, creativity, and love, sweet love!

Well according to the Universe we could all use a REST this month; at least from May 1 until around the 20-21st when the Gemini energy really starts kicking in, and things start to pick up on the road to the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse at the end of the month.

Keep in mind that we do have two eclipses this month: a Solar Eclipse on 5/9 and a Lunar Eclipse on 5/25. Eclipses tend to bring in big changes, and they can also be sudden or unexpected. My feeling is that the strong Taurus energy may temper the impacts of these a bit. Not to say there won’t be movement, that’s guaranteed with eclipses; but to say that it may not be of the mind numbing, personal world-shattering variety. We could use a break from that as well. A note that Solar eclipses tend to bring *in* things and are a “seeding” type of energy, while Lunar eclipses tend to be cleansing and releasing. Something to be mindful of in all of this “comfy” Taurus energy is clinging to things that are no longer in our higher purpose, or even toxic for us in body, mind or spirit. Some of the surprises that eclipses can bring are jolts in our areas of resistance. With the energies so strongly concentrated in Taurus this month, we need to be mindful that sometimes to clean up our garden, some things need to come up by the roots and recycled.

Taurus energy has a spirituality that is truly all its own. It invites us to stop and smell the roses in life and in doing this, we get our head out of the “clouds” of too much speed, distraction and technology. We get back to the beating heart of Mother Earth, and the Universe itself. Hikers, campers and outdoor types of all kinds are especially going to relish this.

The Cosmic Tune choice for this month was a bit silly and perfect. Folks born after a certain time may not be familiar with this great Woodstock-era band. They are just the right kind of groovy, love fest energy that May likes to stretch out in.

We can look at this statement from another view as well. We can jump in the water (of vast spiritual consciousness,) and stay drunk (elevated on divine love-wisdom,) all the time. Sounds like a worthy aspiration to me!

Canned Heat – Going Up the County

A private paradise of inner peace awaits you this month in your own quiet sanctuary. I highly suggest you tear yourself away from technology when you can and endeavor to connect with Mother Earth. Your mama loves you. Isn’t it time you paid her a respectful visit?

Just as looking at the blue sky, One can sense the stars that shine behind that blue veil, knowing that those stars will shine when proper conditions are available. So today as you go about your day and evening, pay closer attention to that which you would normally ignore. Notice the trees swaying, the sun shining, the wind as it blows, watch the clouds as they shift, the birds gracing the sky, the cycles of the moon, and the stars that penetrate the night sky. Look closer at this dance of nature, feel the wind blow gently on your face, listen to the whispers as it calls your name, as all these elements which we normally ignore, are but extensions of our true greater Self. Hello friends. I am here in the desert for what was intended to be a working respite, and it has ended up taking a much different turn based on today’s events in Boston. I sensed what I call a “disturbance in the force” starting late this morning and fell into a deep sleep this afternoon which was the time of the event itself. This has happened to me in the past, but not for many years. There is no doubt many Light Workers were on the spiritual “ground crew” and perhaps still are. Thank you for your service today, and always.

I received this message in the morning today.

In the time period of 4/15 through 4/25 (Full Moon Eclipse,) there is a greater influx of higher dimensional energy being shared with Gaia and her inhabitants. This for a brief time may cause an “appearance” of an increase in resistant motives and behaviors that are at cross-purposes. Let it pass. Let it (and the perpetrators) go. The opportunity in such time to connect deeper with one’s own Spirit and true values. As in, what are you radiating today? What needs to be dropped in your consciousness to further be an Ambassador for Peace on the planet? If you are unaware of your Role, inquire within and/or seek the counsel of a soul-directed Guide.

The Message in the evening after the afternoon’s events.

Dear Ones, the controlling interests on Earth no longer “own” the planet, so they are stepping the conflict up a notch so to speak, to regain control. This does not come at a surprise to you. Those that are responsible for acts of terrorism may not or may not be involved directly with an organized, criminal cabal. This however, is not entirely relevant. If you are not able to offer love to these beings, offer them your divine detachment. This is not to say to be indifferent. Let these events further dedicate you to the path of Light, Healing and Truth.

It is true you are in the “end” times. It is the end of the reign of terror, control and the end of the imprisonment of all human souls on Earth. It is important to remember the dream-like nature of the world and that ultimately there is no death. Those who transitioned and the injured are brave warriors. Their transitions were not “in vain.” As Gaia and many of those upon her evolves from polarity and duality, there has been what could be described as a “push back,” by certain groups and individuals out of resistance.

Please be mindful that all things are impermanent and subject to change, with the exception of Source Love which is unwavering. This is an occasion to close the two eyes and seek the single eye of Light, while allowing yourself be guided by the divine wisdom of the Heart.

Dear ones, we say to you as we have before in times such as this: to refrain from “studying” these events and other acts of destruction or war. Though it may be more of a challenge in the moment, we invite you to drop the struggle and return to yourself, your essence. This is one of the most powerful ways to influence peace for yourself, and for others as well.

(For now,) the Earth plane can be quite dense and its lessons harsh. This will not always be the case. Being in human form and having your experiences is one of the quickest and most efficient ways to evolve one’s soul. It may seem ironic that there has been a great “forgetting” as part and parcel of earth life for many. This is partly what the Shift on the planet is about, the remembrance that You Are That. All manner of light, love and abundance are available to you as the Creative beings that you truly are.

Hello friends. It’s been quite a journey of discovery this month with so much leading and building up to our powerful Scorpio Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse on 4/25.

Scorpio 6: A gold rush. This is a symbol of the exploitation of natural resources through personal initiative of intelligence, and of every individual’s essential independence of the commonplace limitations or superficial inadequacies of life. There are always high rewards awaiting any genuine enterprise, and as man dramatizes the opportunities of the world at large he is able to improve his own immediate condition in all possible directions. Human skills are forever challenged to their own good fortune. The keyword is ambition. The search for Gold of course has two meanings; a material and a more spiritual one. Gold mining is a personal process and has to do with our own individual values and desires. “Going for the Gold” is to reach for our own highest potential and aspirations. We can use our ambition for more earthly manifestations or spiritual ones, that is our choice. I am reminded of a passage that my former spiritual teacher was quite fond of, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God/dess and all things shall be added unto you.” The Gold Ray in color healing is associated with warmth, illumination, leadership, authority and divine justice. I find it interesting that Marc Edmund Jones discussed the potential for the exploitation of natural resources associated with this symbol, which has become an even more timely and pressing issue today than it was in 1925.

Full Moon Message: The high aspect of Scorpio energy is about deep Truth – which in itself can bring healing and a regenerative power. You Are That (which you seek.) This is a time to bring this truth *home* so to speak. In times of a temporary Eclipse, there is a shadow cast and a darkening of the Light. It also presents a Cosmic Gateway moment in between worlds. In moments of cosmic stillness, there is great power and potential for insight. Full Moon are times of completion and fruition. The Vision that was set in motion at the Aries New Moon has taken wings. You may even have glimpses and remembrances of our last Full Moon in Scorpio from May, 2012. The traditional or exoteric interpretation of Lunar Eclipses are places, things and especially people, being “eclipsed” or moved out of our life. With such potent aspects accompanying this Full Moon/Eclipse and a bit of foreknowledge, we have a opportunity to harness the great power of this lunation not only to our benefit, but to the benefit of all beings. This is a Full Moon that Merlin could be happy about, as it is filled with high magic and tremendous potential.

The Totem/Power Animal magic for this Full Moon is OWL. Owl medicine rules the dark of night, feminine wisdom, clairvoyance, magic, prophecy and omens. It is also related to seeing and hearing that which is normally hidden.

There is a lower-octave, even frightening aspect to a Scorpio Full Moon that rides right along side with the high side. As with all things, it is how we choose to manifest it. The shadow of Scorpio energy can be quite dark and frightening as it rules trauma, vengeance, sexual and other obsessions and control dynamics. I am always reminded however (with my own Scorpio ascendant,) that the opposite/shadow energy for Scorpio can be equally LIGHT, healing and transforming. For those that have been doing their personal and spiritual *work* will possibly be having a much different experience than those who have not. The process (Gateway) that started with the New Moon in Aries on 4.10 is still in a process of unfolding. This entire month has been hugely spiritual and revelatory, and we have been learning even more about personal boundaries and not attending every conflict that we are invited to. I would advise you to continue to keep those ideas in mind during this Full Moon/Eclipse.

Though Scorpio is a reserved and private energy that does not normally equate with public outbursts as it is more of a “slow burn,” they are still possible during this time. Also be on the lookout for subtle power-tripping and manipulative behaviors not only from others, but ourselves too. Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio will still be retrograde during this Full Moon, which also gives it a more inward and regenerative type of feel. I am being told that this moon also has a “karmic accelerant” aspect to it as well. Some more *Gold* that will serve as during this time is the “Golden Rule,” as we will want to keep our thoughts and actions as mindful as possible.

Based on the confusing and tragic events of the previous week in MA and TX, I’m aware that many people are not feeling especially “sparkly” right now. Another high manifestation of Scorpio energy is spiritual alchemy and the transmutation of base metal into Gold. We give up (sacrifice) our lower thoughts, beliefs and tendencies to be filled with something more loving and conscious. This is our current opportunity.

What does the Glittering Prize of Spiritual Awareness look like for you? Though the Spiritual Path is a highly personal experience, the rewards always benefit the ONE.

The first full moon of Sun in Taurus is also celebrated as the “Wesak” festival, which celebrates the birth of the Buddha and a return to the divinity within all beings. Hello friends. Well we’ve had the Uranus/Pluto square around now since 2010, and I’m finally getting around to some commentary. This is partly due to the amount of time it took me to truly connect to these energies, as for a long time they seemed rather elusive to me. I wanted to get past the traditional and exoteric meaning of this aspect, to search for something deeper. If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you know that I often get messages and themes in music, and this time was no different.

Beloveds, the years during this particular aspect (Uranus/Pluto Square) will be powerful and far-reaching for you, and also for future generations. You will see in this time period both personal and collective manifestations of these energies in a *restructuring* that in many instances, may involve “tearing down” the old models down to the basic foundation, so to speak. It is a time of new visions, dreams and supporting these new structures in both a spiritual and physical (material) reality. – The Keepers, 4.4.13

Since we have been having passes of these energies since 2010, we have begun to integrate and adjust to them. I am quite sure that the next pass will be nothing like our time back in 2010. We are being refined, along with the energies themselves. I feel that with each dance of the Uranus/Pluto square we are offering less resistance, and this opens us to greater insights and gifts. This is not to say however, that there will be no discomfort however, as these two energies and planets are not naturally sympatico. It is a lesson in patience, wisdom and accommodation; and those who are aware, open and resilient are learning well.

I feel that the energies of the New Earth, and what has been called the *alternative timeline* are arriving in a layers and waves. The imagery of “Taking the Veil” is actually not something that is done by force, but by our own expanding love and consciousness awareness. It is a natural progression of our personal and planetary evolution.

We are breaking through to another evolutionary level, a process that always involves great struggle very much like a baby bird breaking its shell. Some day, people will realize that our species experienced a great leap forward 2012-15, one that can be compared to the late medieval Renaissance 500 years ago. Hello friends. I often know when a New or Full Moon is going to have a little extra “punch” to it by the amount of information that starts coming through sometimes well in advance, and this month is no exception. Both the New and Full Moon of April are unique and significant, and have quite a story to tell us. In keeping pace with my forecast for April, this month is definitely turning out to be ride of varied and potentially transforming experiences. Though we may at times become weary or even discouraged, we are being “polished” and refined in new and revolutionary ways.

Beloveds, you have asked about the current energies and we share this: in some ways it could be called the death knell of certain aspects of the old ways of life, the old paradigm. The bell has been rung, and the vibration has been made manifest. Symbolically this is currently reflecting through the planets: Capricorn energy which seeks to crystallize and maintain, and Aries (Stellium) which seeks to break through. The fight and struggle may prolong and aggravate discomfort. Breathe. Relax. Step Through. If you are in experience of physical or emotional pain, release resistance. Offer Love to it all. The depth of the shadows are the opposite side of the current depth of Light. Your task is not to judge, but to support, radiate and love. There are here the raw elements of experience, primarily on the side of self-realization as man exhibits full confidence in his own powers and seeks the support of that audience the world will always provide for the spectacle when anyone is willing to risk major fruits of achievement. This symbol alludes to not only “Fighting the Good Fight,” but also to “Choosing one’s battles.” As our Buddhist friends inform us, when we have stopped the war within, there will be no more war without. We will see that we really have only been fighting ourselves; the outer world being the canvas for our inner conflicts and shadows. Though the energy of this moon definitely has an “action,” element, it is important to acknowledge the opposite side, which is non-action. A need for discernment in this area is also likely to arise. It’s a very good time to suspend excessive judgment and allow ourselves to be guided.

Many of our conflicts with ourselves and with others arise out of a deep spiritual amnesia. We believe we are these limited beings and that our temporary thoughts and emotions are completely real. To egoic mind it all seems so solid, and this is also part of the illusion. Taking the angle that the true spiritual fight is a fight from and on the *inside* of consciousness, as from a certain higher vantage point, all is ONE.

You know the way it throws about, it takes you in and spits you out. It spits you out when you desire to conquer it, to feel you’re higher. To follow it you must be clean, with mistakes that you do mean. Move the heart, switch the pace, look for what seems out of place. – Peter Murphy

I’ve always loved this brilliant, evocative song and especially the line, “with mistakes that you do mean.” With Hindsight being 20/20 and such strong Aries energies still present, we may be making decisions that could be perceived as headlong or even hasty. This could very well be one of those months where our “mistakes,” may turn out to be boons or even blessings for us on down the line.

It’s going to be quite a journey from the Aries New Moon (A Pugilist entering the ring) to the Scorpio Full Moon (A Gold Rush) this month. It’s a journey of emancipation which may not look anything like you would expect it to. April “Fools” and Snake Medicine are afoot, dear readers; it’s “anything can happen” month. The Gold Rush is quite appropriate. While some will be chasing “Fools Gold” that is treasures that thieves can steal and rust can destroy, wise seekers are on the path of something more eternal and trustworthy. The keywords this month being: inquire within.

Hello friends. When I did the yearly forecast for 2013 back in late 2012 I got the feeling even then that I would have to take each month as they came, and treat them even more individually than in previous years. In a year of “(Water) Snake Medicine,” I knew we had our work cut out for us, and that this year for everyone (especially for those with eyes to see,) would be a deep initiation on several levels.

It is also a continuation of the process that was started at the Full Moon in Libra last week as it made all of those contacts to Mars, Uranus and Pluto. Yes indeed, change is still afoot dear ones, and with these aspects it’s most likely to be more long-lasting as opposed to the minor or relatively superficial, though there will be changes in those areas as well. Astrograph called the Fires of April “subtle,” and I would tend to agree. However, just because they are subtle does not mean they are not capable of destruction and great changes. It’s all about *management* of these energies, and staying as grounded and present as possible. We already did the “bulldozer” effect back in February/March, and if you’re anything like me, you’d like to move on to another strategy.

Thinking on this month and it’s energies the song below immediately popped in my head. It’s a classic and is considered one of Peter Gabriel’s finest. It also describes the personal initiatory process perfectly. Yes some people might think we are “nuts” this month, but since we’ve got so much Aries energy still happening (Sun, Venus, Mars & Uranus,) it will be easier not to take it personally and to just keep moving forward. It’s important to remember however, that in strong Aries energy that we don’t put our own needs over others to an unreasonable point. We need to take a cosmic hippocratic oath to “Do no harm.” It sounds a bit tricky I know, but with some skill and awareness it can be done. Keeping in mind that Aries energy in its highest aspect is both a leader and brave warrior. A good leader knows which sacrifices to be made are appropriate, and those which are not. Mid-month Mars and Venus move from Aries to Taurus which will give our desire nature and action in the world a more grounded, sensual flair.

I feel that from 4.1 to around 4.15 will be more action-packed, while the strong influx of Taurus energies starting 4.15 and continuing through 4.21 slow things down a bit. However, as with many aspects we won’t feel this immediately, as the astro-weather often has a bit of “lag time.”

The highlight of this month’s energy is undoubtedly the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse on 4.25 (I will be writing a report on that later in the month.) Lunar Eclipses combined with Full Moons are no minor cosmic happening, and often bring dramatic changes and/or surprises. I recommend we use the first three weeks of April to continue our own “Spring Cleaning” spiritually, emotionally and physically to prepare for this event. Cleaning out the closet and donating goods forward is always a positive thing and creates more space for the NEW. Using these powerful energies appropriately are an opportunity for further refinement and growth not only on a personal level, but a collective one too. I feel all of the major aspects this year will have a community implication along with them; partly due to the fact that we are in a “6″ year which highlights communities and the global family.

Mantra of the Month: I allow Divine Fire to cleanse and renew me. I gently release all that no longer serves, blessing all. I enter a new season awake and aware. And so it is! – The Keepers, 3.31.13
