Cosmic Weather – Full Moon Report for 5.14.14
Hello friends. The past two weeks have been quite powerful and intense, wouldn’t you say? We’ve been in another period of vibrational upgrading, and all of the implications that go along with that. These high frequencies we are in will continue to build all the way to and through the upcoming Full Moon in Scorpio.
The Wesak or “Buddha” moon (first Full Moon of May,) is one of the most spiritually powerful of the year. Based on history and legend, it is when the two streams of consciousness represented by Master Jesus Christ and Lord Buddha, come together to illuminate the Earth and all sentient beings upon her (if they would so receive the blessing.) This moon is one of my absolute favorites, and this year it will be making contacts with the Grand Water Trine (Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces.) That’s a lot of water to dream on, indeed!
Please refer to the link below to read my blog post on the Wesak moon from 2012.
The Sabian Symbol for Scorpio 24: Crowds coming down the mountain to listen to one man.
This is a particularly interesting symbol in combination with the energies of this full moon, and all of the other powerful energies that travel with it. In a traditional interpretation, the “one man” that people are coming down to listen to would be a great orator or powerful teacher of some sort, which ties in nicely to the wisdom of Buddha, Jesus Christ and other spiritual masters. When I sat with this symbol I saw the mountain as the place where one goes to have a respite from the world and receive inspiration. We can certainly read and study the words of the great teachers and sages that have come before us, but I feel especially with so much inspired water/creative frequencies, that we can be our *own* sage and spiritual teacher, especially now.
“Coming down the mountain” to me also implies a groundedness and returning to earth, that is much needed. The energies of April’s Cardinal Cross and Eclipses are still being processed and absorbed. I see it as similar to being on a spiritual retreat of some sort, and returning to tell your family or community about it. On the other hand, those who do have an “audience” of sorts may be more captivating at this time, and more attention could be directed your way. For those who messages are flowing from a higher wisdom and dimension may be more easily noticed. There is also a certain responsibility that comes with this, as people will be spiritually sensitized at this time and it will be important for the message(s) to be free from self-centeredness and overt self-promotion. The message will be heard by its intended audience. This seems to be something that will be natural and will not need to be forced.
This is definitely a time to have a voice recorder or notebook handy, as the ideas may be coming in quickly. Artists and musicians may find this full moon particularly inspiring. Some of the favored activities for this moon include: ritual, tantric and shamanic practices, meditation, art, music, telepathy/channeling and healing arts of all kinds.
Karmically this is a time when many energies are coming to fruition and converging, which is not uncommon for full moon energy. What makes this full moon period different is not only what rides with it, but also what it follows. Many have been experiencing powerful shifts and changes from the subtle all the way to the dramatic in the wake of the Cardinal Cross and eclipses.
This Full Moon has great potential for healing, and also exposing hidden woundedness which indeed may be part of the process. Empaths and sensitives especially may be intuitively guided to get “unplugged” and quiet during this period, which I would definitely support. It’s easier to hear divine messages when one is silent and receptive to them, though they may also pop up in the outer world as well, considering all of the inspiration that will be out and about.
Happy Full Moon friends and remember to keep it Cosmic!
